| But I'm getting to the point that I could probably make one :) I knew it was the ECU so first, with just the ecu not connected to anything, I did a resistance check between the pins that go to the injectors and ground. I found that the pin for injector 4 was reading 12.34 K ohms where all the other injector pins read around 2.4 meg ohm. I traced pin 4 back to one of the legs of the chip. I replaced the chip, rechecked the resistance readings which were now fine, retested the ECU with my simulated engine running setup and everything worked fine.
